Often times when you’re working on a text-heavy InDesign document and you want to do a Find & Replace on text. The problem may be that you’re zoomed out to view the whole page, and you’re having a difficult time seeing the text being highlighted in your document when you hit Find Next in the Find dialog box.

The simple solution is to hit ⌘+ to zoom in to the document, and ⌘- to zoom back out if you need to — it works perfectly even when the Find dialog box is active.

Quickly zoom back to 100% in Photoshop

Simple is always good, especially when you’ve got a full day of Photoshop work ahead of you. Zooming in and out can be tedious, so here are two quick ways to zoom back to 100%.

First, you can double click the Zoom tool in the Photoshop Tools panel. This helps with the finger fatigue of constantly using keyboard shortcuts. That being said, the most dead simple way to zoom back to 100 is to just hit Command + 1.

Did you know you can quickly and temporarily switch to the Zoom tool in Photoshop CS4 simply by hitting the Z key? How about by hitting Command + Spacebar? Command + or Command – works pretty well too. Zoom all Photoshop documents at once

Did you know that when you’re working with multiple Photoshop documents open at once that you can zoom them all to 100% with a simple keystroke? By holding down the Shift key and double-clicking the Zoom tool in the Toolbox, all your document views will be set to 100%. Pretty handy when you’re evaluating several images at once. Control the zoom in Adobe InDesign

In Adobe InDesign, if you have an object on the page selected and use the zoom tool, or the keyboard commands to zoom in, ID will automatically zoom with the selected object as the “center point.” Commands for zooming: Command + 5 = 50% Command + 1 = 100% Command + 2 = 200% Command + 0 (zero) = Fit page to window Command + Option + 0 (zero) = Fit entire spread to window Command + Option + 5 and then type a percentag & hit Enter = zoom to the percentage you typed.… Read the rest
