Adobe InDesign
I recently came across StockInDesign, a site devoted to providing designers free InDesign templates for flyers, brochures, magazines, resumes and more. The InDesign files are provided in .indd and .IDML format, so you can open them in Adobe InDesign CS4 or later. While they are free of monetary payment, you are required to pay with a Twitter Tweet or Facebook Share.
Adobe Photoshop
FreePSDFiles has a collection of three great email newsletter templates in PSD format. Fully layered files make it easy to customize to fit your client’s color scheme and artwork. These files are free for personal or commercial use.

If you use Apple’s iWork suite, Keynote, Pages and/or Numbers, you may find yourself searching for some new artwork to add a little spiff to your presentations, documents and spreadsheets. Before you speed off to Google to search for more, I’ve got a quick stop for you to make that may save you the trouble.
Jumsoft, makers of some really cool Mac OS X apps, iWork add-ons and Mail stationery, happens to have a Free Goodies page, where you can download hundreds of pieces of artwork, templates and Mail stationery.

Many times I find myself having to mock-up designs on various items such as bags, DVD covers, coffee mugs, and other various gift items for clients. Having an archive full of blank photos of such items goes a long way in making the task easier.
