With Firefox 3 in the final stages of beta, I've been looking at what extensions I use and whether or not I wish to continue using them. Since most extensions don't work in the beta version of Firefox without the use of Nightly Tester Tools, I've been living without most of them for a while.
Below is a list of extensions I consider must-have. All the extensions I've listed either work already with Firefox 3rc1, or work with Nightly Tester Tools forcing them to work.
By the way, the appearance in the screenshot above is courtesy of the GrApple Delicious Theme.

This is my list. It is by no means a complete list of great extensions, but it's what I use on a daily basis. If you have an extension you like, post a link in the comments. I would love to know what you're using.

BBCodeXtra is cool!
Thu, 05/29/2008 - 05:56 — DanI never heard of that extension. I've already downloaded and tried it and it's very cool. Saves a lot of typing in forum posts. Thanks!
a few additional plugins that i use
Thu, 05/29/2008 - 06:52 — gwellssome that i find indispensable.
ie tab
for those times you find sites that just need to work in IE to function properly (including some of my intranet pages at work)
map this
select any address, right click and select map this and another tab opens up with the address in google maps
repagination
right click "next" or "previous" or "2" link and flatten all results to one page (example, you could put 100 results on a google image search page).
session manager
makes it easier to restore old sessions after a crash or if you just want to go back to an older set of tabs from an old session
super dragandgo
select a URL that hasn't been made into a link (e.g. "abc.com"), then drag it anywhere on the browser window and let go and it creates a new tab with that URL
tab mix plus
adds a lot of control to how your tabs look and work
