I have no idea why, but I love infographics when they’re done creatively. They’re a great way to display lots of data in a way that’s easily digestible. The toughest part about creating them is figuring out a theme to start with.

One man's goal of thinking creatively each day
Robert at Behance Network took on a personal challenge of creating 100 different logos over the course of 100 days, spending no more than 100 minutes of time on each one. While we can make the argument that most of them can be classified as an illustration rather than a logo, it still serves it purpose of inspiring creative thinking each day.

Infographics are quite popular, and can be a great experience for designers to work on because it allows you to be totally creative without the concern of how the graphic fits in with an existing campaign, etc.
The infographic, How Apple is Revolutionizing Education, uses simple graphics and a small color palette to get its point across. I think they pulled it off quite well.
