This little discussion on InDesignSecrets illuminates an issue with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign that has bugged me for years. Why does a file in InDesign at 100% look larger than the same file in Photoshop viewed at 100%? More importantly, why hasn’t Adobe fixed this?

The reason is in the comments on the article. The point is, why has such a simple thing gone unfixed in all this time?
I suppose because photoshop thinks in pixels (it’s native measurement) so 100% needs to be the smallest size at which you can see every pixel on the screen. InDesign thinks in inches (it’s native measurement).
