The official statement from Adobe is that Mavericks and Adobe Creative Suite 6 and Creative Cloud play nice together. In fact, they claim compatibility back to CS3.
I had to re-enter username & password for the Creative Cloud app after upgrading to Mavericks, InDesign runs horribly, and Adobe Illustrator opens on an old MacBook Air, but not on a brand new iMac with the exact same apps & fonts installed. Previously, Creative Cloud was running perfectly fine.
I’ve also come across dozens of other apps that are now broken, such as two different screen capture apps.
I would say if you haven’t installed Mavericks on your main rig, don’t do it yet.
Also problematic for me. InDesign CC performed beautifully before the upgrade to Mavericks. Now its cumbersome and slow. Illustrator CC seems to work fine, so it appears that ID CC is the only application I’ve experienced the problem with, but admittedly haven’t worked in Photoshop CC recently.
No problem with CC so far…
Thanks for your post; we haven’t had any difficulties… In trying to diagnose your problem, one thing to do is make sure it’s not your third-party plugins causing the issue, rather than the Adobe software itself.

I can tell you that CS6 Master Collection disc set is just fine. Have opened and briefly used each app with no issues. Glad I have not moved over to CC yet. Especially if there are issues. Have not found any issues with any others apps either. Guess I got lucky. I do try to use the most current version of my apps. Only had to do an update to 2 apps which was minor. Well hopefully Adobe fixs the issues quickly.
I have the new mac pro with mavericks system. I had adobe cs6 discs and it will not open. Can install. Why?
It’s kind of hard to diagnose a problem like that without sitting in front of the machine. All I can say is to try creating a new user account on the MP and installing CS6 to see if it works. If it does, then your regular user account has a piece of conflicting software installed.
