Free artwork for Apple iWork users
If you use Apple’s iWork suite, Keynote, Pages and/or Numbers, you may find yourself searching for some new artwork to add a little spiff to your presentations, documents and spreadsheets. Before you speed off to Google to search for more, I’ve got a quick stop for you to make that may save you the trouble.
Jumsoft, makers of some really cool Mac OS X apps, iWork add-ons and Mail stationery, happens to have a Free Goodies page, where you can download hundreds of pieces of artwork, templates and Mail stationery.
Affordable stock photography for designers
Enter the era of affordable stock, and user-contributed photo sites. With digital camera prices reaching all-time lows, and the quality more than adequate, the average person can provide some very good shots. There are now hundreds of sites on the web that offer fantastic photography for little to no cost.

Free textures: Old leather
Good leather textures are hard to come by. Most look a little too perfect, in my opinion. PSDTuts has a great set of 5 old leather textures. All five are 3872 x 2592 pixels, perfect for print or multi-media use.

Charts and graphs are still the foundation of most great looking infographics, and Adobe Illustrator is still the premiere application for creates to design them in.

Download iPhone UI elements in vector and PSD format
With iOS4’s recent release, you may be searching for UI elements to build your iPhone app, or use various elements in your designs. Here are two fantastic resources for you to download the UI elements, and they’re absolutely free.
iOS4 (iPhone 4) GUI in PSD format – Teehan+Lax has released their latest PSD file with updated and accurate UI elements.
iPhone 3 OS UI elements in vector format – These elements are older, but since they’re in vector format, they’re much easier to work with.
Free PSD files for download
Lava360 has put together a great list of Adobe Photoshop PSD files, free for download and use in your designs. Of particular use might be a DVD disc and case template. Even if you don’t need the actual artwork, it’s always nice to see how other artists compose their files.

Yet another set of high-resolution textures to add to your collection; grungy white cardboard from Bittbox. These high-res images are perfect to enhance your background colors on both web and printed design pieces.
Free textures: Black & white grunge
Grunge backgrounds can be an extremely simple and good looking way to enhance the background of your design. But many times, the colorful grunge backgrounds are just too much.
This set of Black & White Grunge background textures, by Caleb Kimbrough, offers you subtle way to add that grunge effect, without the heaviness of most of the textures out there. Each of the five textures measures approximately 8×10.5 inches at 300 dpi, making them perfect for commercial printing.
