Free business infographic vectors
If you’re working on an infographic for a client, these free infographic vectors may come in handy.
Free font: Freshman
We’ve all had a project that called for a decidedly “collegiate” look to it. Freshman is a freebie font from UrbanFonts that fits the bill.
Free font: Carbon
A nice rounded sans-serif display font by Ray Larabie. Free for personal and commercial use.
USA map PSD template designed in 3D style
FreePSDFiles has a great 3D map of the USA. The 300 dpi PSD file is fully editable, with each state having its own layer—allowing you to highlight individual states as well as add a popover (as seen in the screenshot above).
Free font: Bird feathers
Another image font, this time a collection of bird feathers from Manuel Persa. This collection is stunning in detail. You can download the layered PSD file here.
Each letter of the feather type alphabet is on its own layer, and at 30 x 40 inches at 300 dpi overall, the artwork is perfectly usable for commercial printing

Though not really a font, Multicolor is a collection of typographical objects in Adobe Illustrator which you can further alter to suit your needs.

Manteka is a nice sans-serif headline font with a blocky style. Free for personal and commercial use.
Stocksy: A better stock photography resource
I’m always on the lookout for stock photography resources, and I tend to bookmark any stock photo site that shows any potential. But let’s be honest, client budgets aren’t what they used to be. Sites like Getty and Masterfile are just too expensive. At the other end, ThinkStock, Shutterstock and iStockPhoto are affordable but have a rather poor selection of images for high-end advertising use; they’re overloaded with cliché images with poor cropping and mediocre subject matter.
Enter Stocksy, a curated royalty free stock photo site run by the photographers themselves. By curated I mean that you can’t simply submit photos for inclusion on the site like you can at other sites. You have to be invited by the photographers that run the site.
